He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Barbour and Adelene Payton Alexander; and his brothers, Alfred, Billy Joe and Larry Wayne Barbour.

He is survived by: his sister Sherry Hall (David). He is also survived by two nieces, two nephews; three great nephews and one great niece.
