He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Sanders and Joy Smith Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Laura Stasel Sanders; his son Tyler Sanders (Kara); and his siblings, Thelbert Sanders (Cheri), Debbie Wooden (Stanley), Kenwettia Ramey (James) and Patty Sanders.
