She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmore Rountree and Vada Sturgeon Rountree; her husband William "Billy" Dickinson; her son Michael Sturgeon; and her siblings, Roger Rountree, Nellie Clifford, Mavis Smith, Jr., Charles Rountree, Esther Hodge and David Rountree.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Fitzzalland (John) and Tim Surgeon (late Sandy); and her grandchildren, Jana, Missy, Gayla, Erica, Tammy, Jessica, Veronica, DeWayne, Katrina, Danielle, Justin, Johnathan, Tasha, Travis, Derek and Chasity. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
