He was predeceased by: his father Leroy "Billy" Smith; and his father-in-law Ray Branstetter. He is survived by: his wife Alicia Branstetter Smith; his sons, Jeremy Smith (Ashley) and Dan Smith (Becca); his mother Ada Mae Smith; his grandchildren, Larkin, Claire and Sawyer Smith; his mother-in-law Wilma Branstetter; his brother Doug; his sister-in-law Pam Branstetter; his nephew Greg Branstetter; and his niece Amanda Branstetter Warren.
