He was predeceased by: his parents, Casey Lindsey and Lillian Cox Lindsey; his sister Rowena Lindsey Davis; his parents-in-law, Seaymon and Kathleen Bryant Atwell; and his brother-in-law Cleburne Atwell.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Atwell Lindsey; his sons, Dewayne Lindsey (Micki) and Edwin Lindsey (Amy); his grandchildren, Mattye Lindsey and Ben Lindsey of Monroe; and his siblings, Jackie Lindsey (Matilda), Joyce Turner, Patricia Caine and Nellie Grambell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
