He was predeceased by: his parents, James Luther Ray and Ruby Moore Ray; his son James Michael Ray; and his brother James Leroy Ray. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Norman Ray; his daughter Shelby Ray of Mount Pleasant, SC; and his siblings, Kenneth Wayne Ray (Melody) of Park City, Linda Adwell (Howard) of Glasgow and Brenda Pullen (Rodney) of Park City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
