He is survived by: his son Paul Douglas Gossett of Hardyville; his siblings, Junior Gossett (Ruth Ann) of Uno and Hazel Smith of Bon Ayr; and his cousin Terry "Moose" Gossett. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
