She was predeceased by: her husband Amos Christopher Houk; her parents, C. E. Dowell and Virginia Dowell; and her sister Margaret Lois Dowell Nelson. She is survived by: her sons, Leslie Bryan Houk (Tammy Kaye Houk) and Robert Dale Houk (Marysusan Miles Houk); her grandchildren, Virginia Mae Houk Ball (Jason Robert Ball), Scott Aaron Mancuso (Aimee Boswell Mancuso), Zachary Travis Mancuso (Anna Lynette Rawls) and Miles Christopher Houk; and her great grandchildren, Easton Paul Mancuso, Elleanor Elaine Mancuso, Helen Margaret Ball and Henry Amos Ball.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Winn Funeral Home (210 Maple Ave, Horse Cave, KY 42749). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
