He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmit Hill and Pearl Hodge Hill; his wives, Joyce Elaine Hill and Connie J. Hill; his granddaughter Tori Lashay Minton; and his son Denzil Stutts.

He is survived by: his children, Garland Ray Hill, Jr. (Angel) of Citrus Spring, FL, Gloria Minton (Robert) of Horse Cave, KY, Pam Simard (Paul) of Wesely Chapel, FL, Tony Sullivan (Renita) of Plant City, FL, Kitty Martin (John) of Prattville, AL, Chris Stutts, Dean Stutts (Shannon) of Zepherhills, FL and Angie Moore (Captain) of Hodgenville, KY; and his close friend Ruby Gore of Clarkson, KY. He is also survived by Several grandchildren, great-granchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
