As Elmer Clay departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Elmer Clay may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Elmer Clay leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Thomas Turner and Dortha Lloyd Turner. He is survived by: his wife DiAnn Wurzel Turner; his son Brian Robert Turner; his brothers, Denton Thomas Turner (late Ann) and Edwin Fay Turner (Bonnie); his nephew Jeff Turner; and his nieces, Amy Gathof, Tammy Lucas and Sherri Gribbins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Winn Funeral Home (210 Maple Ave, Horse Cave, KY 42749). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
