The world bids farewell to Dorothy Wilhoite of Horse Cave, Kentucky, departing on March 3, 2025 at the age of 94. Dorothy leaves behind memories cherished by the community. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tom Wilhoite; her children, Brenda Hatcher and David Thomas Wilhoite; and her siblings, Mildred Hay, Bobby Davis and Roy Davis.
She is survived by: her son Lloyd Wilhoite (Pam); her grandchildren, Tammy Bruton (Beau), Traci Cox, Troy Hatcher, Ben Wilhoite (Kamiko) and Jeremy Wilhoite; her great grandchildren, Shelby, Skylar, Kaleigh, Madison, Briley and Bentley; and her siblings, John Davis (Joan), Wanda Williams (Jimmy) and Harold Davis (Rhonda). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Winn Funeral Home (210 Maple Ave, Horse Cave, KY 42749). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be given to Winn Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
