She was predeceased by: her husband George Johnson; her parents, Ben Garrett and Mary Garrett; and her siblings, W. R. Garrett and Wanda Kay Wheeler.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Smith (David); her grandson Scott Smith (Angela); her great grandchild Travis Marsh Smith; her stepgreat-grandsons, Tommy and Lakota Houchin; and her sister Mary Emma Hodges. She is also survived by three great-great grandchildren.
