He was predeceased by: his parents, Romie Lee Barton and Creola Christy Barton. He is survived by: his wife Rita Young Barton; his daughters, Rhonda Barton Taylor (Ronnie) of Cave City and Kimberly Barton Bowles of Glasgow; his grandson Charles L. Bryant (Seehara); his pets, Damon J. Bryant of Hardyville, Jonathan J. Bryant (Amber) of Glasgow, Harley S. Holmes (Kevin) of Dunnville, Angela Storm (Matthew), Megan Bowles of Cave City and Kelsey Bowles of Glasgow; and his siblings, Nelda Matthews (Leland) of Alvaton, Glenda Wilson of Georgia, Donald Barton of Glasgow and James Barton of Columbia. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
