He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Paul Hay and Glea Bilbrey Hay; his stepmother Hallie Esters Hay; his siblings, Paul David Hay, G. W. Esters, Mae Esters Meredith and Georgia P. Childress; his daughter-in-law Natasha Johnson Hay; and his father-in-law Howard Devore.

He is survived by: his wife Ann Hay; his sons, Paul Burton Hay (Jennifer) and Brandon Nuel Hay (Jessica); his grandchildren, Cole Hay, Alec Hay, Ty Hay, Katie Austin, Gracie Mabe, Ashlyn Holloway, Archer Hay and Zandon Hay; his great grandchildren, Zaylee Kate Austin and Owen Robert Hay; his sister Paulette McKinney (Billy); his mother-in-law Wyonia Devore; his brother Timmy; and his sister-in-law Kim England. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in memory of Archie Marion Hay.
