She was predeceased by: her parents, Milburn B. Ross and Edwinna Baize Ross; her parents-in-law, Ethel and Cordelia Murphy; and her siblings-in-law, Smith, Louis Murphy, Roger Ferguson and Costella Helfin.
She is survived by: her husband Jeff Murphy; her children, Misty Corum of Horse Branch and Andrew Murphy (April) of Horse Branch; her grandchildren, Trenton (Autumn), Soleol, Logan, Bailey, Brylie and Jacey; and her siblings, Mitchell "Mickey" Ross (Chris), Myron Franklin Ross (Linda), Frances Shirlene Maddox (Danny), Rachel Laurette Byrd (Jimmy) and Judith Pauline Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
