He was predeceased by: his parents, Conward Swift and Rose Maiden (Charles); his siblings, Roger Swift and Sheila Baize; and his siblings-in-law, Kevin Bratcher and Frances Bratcher.

He is survived by: his wife Angelita Swift of Horse Branch; his children, Mark "Bo" Swift of Horse Branch and Tiffany Swift of Horse Branch; his siblings, Carl Swift (Sandra) of Trenton, Charles Maiden Jr. of Horse Branch and Candy Wilson (Terry) of Horse Branch; and his siblings-in-law, Mickey Baize of McHenry, Dwayne Bratcher (Pam) of Hartford and Renetta Romero (Paul) of Horse Branch. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
