She was predeceased by: her father Lee Phelps; her grandson Jeremy Geary; her niece Kimberly Bates Mattingly; her father-in-law John C. Morris; and her brother-in-law Louis Murphy.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. John David Morris; her sons, Johnny Morris (Crystal Scarberry) of Horse Branch and Ben Morris (Olivia) of Horse Branch; her grandchildren, Joyce Payton, Jessie Hoover (Ethan), Cortney Perez (Andrew), Jonathan Tyson, Jr., Karlie Cline (Brock Hess), K. C. Cline, Brandon Geary (Stephanie), Amy Renfrow and Olivia Renfrow; and her siblings, Jay Phelps (Lily) of Owensboro, Audrey Wilson (Tom) of Beaver Dam, Lida Murphy of Horse Branch, Lori Parks (Danny) of Caneyville, Jimmy Phelps of Horse Branch and Billy Phelps (Amanda). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
