It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Orville W. Baize of Horse Branch, Kentucky, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Baize and Reba Hocker Baize; his wife Sandy Maiden Baize; his grandson Jakob Baize; and his sister Lucille Daugherty.
He is survived by: his son Richard David Baize (Lisa); his pet Branch; his grandsons, Zak Baize (Erin) and Kenneth Kyler Baize (Ivy); his great grandchildren, Joseph, Jayce, Jaxton, Jozie and Jebadiah; and his brothers, Bud Baize (Nenie) of Kronos, Tommy Baize (Phyllis) of Beaver Dam and Garnett Baize (Sue) of Beaver Dam. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William L. Danks Funeral Home (222 N Lafayette St, Beaver Dam, KY 42320). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery.
