He is survived by: his children, William Boyd Adkins III (Bonnie) of Hopkinsville, KY and Alice Adkins Ivy (Mike) of Appleton, WI; his grandchildren, William Boyd Adkins IV (Ashley) of Paducah, KY, Gabe Adkins (Tina) of Auburn, KY, Lucy Shell (Eric) of Nashville, TN, Jim Adkins (Jessica) of Murray, KY, Mary Nite (Micah) of New York, NY, Rob Ivy (Christine) of Pittsburgh, PA and Margaret Verruni (Joseph) of Washington, D. C.; his niece Kathleen Cannon Bloom of San Diego, CA; and his nephew Robert Cannon of Trigg County, KY.. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (1400 S Main St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to First Baptist Church or a ministry or charity of choice.
