With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Phipps of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvil Grace and Hazel Powell Grace; her son-in-law Steve Stagner; and her siblings, David Milton Grace and Nola Grace.
She is survived by: her husband JD Phipps of Hopkinsville; her children, Jeff Phipps (Melissa) of Hopkinsville, Sheila Stagner of Hopkinsville and Susan Cunningham (Skip) of Hopkinsville; her sisters, Juanita Martin of Hopkinsville and Martha Johnson (William) of Hopkinsville; her grandchildren, Mandy Guffey (Russ), Jason Stagner (Melissa), Lindsay Bardwell (Bradley), Dylan Phipps (Melanie), Wyatt Phipps, Melina Fincher and Tanner Cunningham (Kati); and her great grandchildren, Chaney, Laiken, Adler, Cannon Guffey, Jason, Carter Stagner, Brooks, Beau, Brady Bardwell, Cohen, Beckham Phipps and Aynslee Fincher.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Pennyrile Hospice.
