He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Delaney and Birchie Delaney; and his former wife Mary Young Delaney. He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Cummings Delaney; his children, Seth David Delaney (Barbara) of Franklin, NC and Donna Delaney Hughes (Eddie) of Festus, MO; his stepson Mark Reid (Teresa) of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandsons, Seth Daniel Delaney, Aaron Hughes (Courtney) and Jonathan Hughes (Erin); his stepgranddaughter Taylor Campbell (Dylan); his great grandchildren, Adeline Hughes, Grayston Hughes, Harper Hughes, Maggie Hughes, Charlie Hughes and Boyer Hughes; and his stepgreat-grandson Reid Campbell.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home (2504 S Virginia St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
