He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lewis Taylor, Jr. and Rosa Bell Haskins Taylor (Maureen); his daughters, Michaela and Honesty Taylor; and his siblings, Richard Taylor and Sandra Taylor King.

He is survived by: his wife Kenia Lovan Taylor; his daughter Promise Taylor; and his siblings, Ida Taylor, Carolyn Taylor, Sharon Taylor, Robert Taylor, David Taylor and Penny Taylor. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.
