With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jo Phillips of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 6, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mary farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Brown and Nell Brown (Rudolph); her son Jerald Hardison; and her brother Larry Brown. She is survived by: her husband Billy Phillips; and her brother Steve Brown of Central City. She is also survived by 8 children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bandy Funeral Home (18 N Main St, Nortonville, KY 42442). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
