We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2025, at the age of 88, Julia Mae West of Hopkinsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Julia Mae shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Julia Mae farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bailey and Georgia Bailey; and her siblings, Leonia Bailey and Queenastere Turnley. She is survived by: her son Charles Ferguson (Bonita); and her siblings, Betty Warner, Lillian Wimberly (Marion), Virginia Irene Greenwade (Sheila) of Bishop, G. W. and J. T. Bailey. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Durrett Avenue Baptist Church (1918 Church St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
