He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Mack Long and Zona Smiley Long; his siblings, Betty Turner, Rachel Moore and Edwin Long; and his granddaughter Callie Anne Long.
He is survived by: his sons, Chris (Kristen) of Gracey and Brice (Carie) of Springfield; and his grandchildren, Cooper Long of Gracey and Carly Long of Gracey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home (2504 S Virginia St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
