She was predeceased by: her father Ellis James Tolliver; her husband Phillip C. Hopson; her parents-in-law, J. P. Hopson and Emma Hopson; her grandparents, William C., Precious W. Abshire, Ben and Helen Tolliver; and her aunt Cora B. Tolliver.
She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Jean Tolliver; her brother Kenneth Tolliver; her aunt Josephine Furlow Albert; her children, J'Corryion Weston, LaToni Hopson, Phillishia Hopson and Remiah Jessup; and her siblings-in-law, Rozeta Hopson (Angela Lax), Eli Hopson and Terry Hopson. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
