He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen King Scruggs and Katherine Florene Arms Scruggs. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Cathcart Scruggs of Hopkinsville, KY; his daughters, Cathy Harper (Terry) of Trigg County, KY and Connie Workman (Mike) of Hopkinsville, KY; and his grandchildren, Audrey Crick (Justin), Shawn Roberts (Lauren), Arron Workman (Logan), Nathan Workman (Tori) and Jacob Workman (Aerin). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home (2504 S Virginia St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
