It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Friedlinde Hancock of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johann Hirsch and Thersea Hirsch (Erson); and her siblings, Hans Hirsch and Erna Kisling. She is survived by: her husband Billy Ray Hancock of Hopkinsville, KY; her children, Michael Philhower (Lisa) of Jacksonville, FL, Karoline Schmith (Steven) of Middletown, DE, Monica Deise of Hopkinsville, KY, DeAnn Jones of Hopkinsville, KY, Lanna Keith (Kelly) of Hopkinsville, KY and Laura Owen (Don) of Acworth, GA; and her siblings, Werner Hirsch of Mannheim, Germany, Gunter Hirsch of Mannheim, Germany and Anni Quenzer. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Flat Lick Cemetery (9355 Lafayette Rd, Herndon, KY 42236).
