She is survived by: her children, Kim Earl of Fishers, IN, Alan Gates (Ashley) of Hopkinsville, KY and Kelly Gates of Hopkinsville, KY; her close friend Jimmy Barbee of Hopkinsville, KY; her sister Brenda Gee of Hopkinsville, KY; her grandchildren, Derrick Gates (Mona) of Christian County, KY, Sara Earl Gaman (Walter) of Bloomington, IN, Marley Smotherman (Clay) of Murray, KY and Latham Joiner of Hopkinsville, KY; her great grandchildren, Myra Gates and Elena Gates; and her nieces, Sherry McGowan (Steve) of Hopkinsville, KY and Tammy Curtis (John) of Pembroke, KY..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home (2504 S Virginia St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
