He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Samuel and Virginia Smith Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Means Johnson; his sons, Cletus Alexander Johnson II (Enjoli) and John Wesley Johnson of Tampa, FL; his grandchild Caylx Alexandra; his brother John Wesley Johnson (Shirley); and his niece Beverly Tillmon (Leamon) of Rosharon, TX. He is also survived by many extended family members and close friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (801 E 4th St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
