Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Hazel Powell and Ruby Jane Powell (Burchett); and his siblings, James Powell and Edith Stokes. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Bridges Powell of Christian County, KY; his son Jason Powell (Lynn) of Christian County, KY; his siblings, Elmer David Powell of Christian County, KY and Charlene Bunch (Dave) of Christian County, KY; and his grandson Chandler Ryan Powell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lamb Funeral Home (3911 Lafayette Rd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
