We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2024, at the age of 84, Betty Joyce Banton (Hopkinsville, Kentucky), born in Nashville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Darla Congdon; her grandson Matthew Parker; her mother Dorothy Beard Payne; her stepfather Henry Bates Payne; and her father Jack D. Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Jacwyn Lackey (Jack) of Hopkinsville, KY and Danna Parker (Shawn) of Cape Girardeau, MO; her grandchildren, Sarah Lackey, Joe Lackey (Zena), Lindsay Parker and Lily Parker; and her brother Henry Bates "Butch" Payne, Jr. (Brenda).
