He was predeceased by: his parents, Estill Walters and Nettie Sewell Walters; his former wife Ollie Adams Walters; his siblings, Virgil Walters, Ed Walters, Ollie Walters, Ocie Walters, Jack Walters, Mary Lou Holdridge and Hazel Frazier; and his daughters-in-law, Debbie Walters and Sharon Walters.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Ruggels Hackworth Walters; and his children, Delmar Walters (Debbie), Jerry Walters (Andrea), Kenny Walters (Sharon), Robert Walters, Judy Leach (Marvin), Debbie Hanna (Bryan) and Sherri Griffith (Barry). He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hope First Church of God (10272 Hope Means Rd, Hope, KY 40334). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
