She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Bush; her parents, Arthur Perkins and Bessie Carver Perkins; and her siblings, Charlotte Schrader, Sue Johnson and Clarence Perkins.
She is survived by: her siblings, Daphene Bush of Holmes Mill, Dorothy Bush of Holmes Mill, Debbie Perry of Holmes Mill, Lois Bledsoe of North Carolina, Ruth Robbins of Iowa, Junior Perkins (Louise) and Johnny Perkins (Jonesville). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, many of whom she helped raise, along with many other neighborhood children.
