She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer James "Gene" Brock; her parents, Oakley Burnette and Bonnie Mae Blevins Burnette; and her siblings, Brenda Kay Burnette, Oakley Woodrow Burnette, Jr. and James Bernard Burnette.
She is survived by: her sisters, Willie Mae Burnette (Harlan) and Mary Wilder (Bill) of Jonesville, VA; and her stepchildren, Ruth Perkins (Joe) of Holmes Mill, Nancy Stanton (Robert) of Holmes Mill, Nannie Huff (Arles) of Holmes Mill, Glen Brock (Betty) of Wise, VA, Shirley Madison (Terry), Harlan and Norma Price (Bill). She is also survived by step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lee Memorial Gardens (1986 Hickory Flts Rd, Pennington Gap, VA 24277).
