He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Lynn Morrison Shelton; his parents, Harvey Shelton and Alta Salsman Shelton; and his brothers, James and Chalin Shelton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tonda Underwood (Tony) of Hodgenville and Stephanie Compton (Bill) of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Brittany, Adam, Chase, Zachary and Vivian; his great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Wyatt, Westyn, Gibson and Briar; and his sister Margaret West of Hodgenville.
