He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Nichols Ovesen; his children, TaShawna Thomas (Mark) of Hodgenville, Kaylah Carter of Hodgenville, Amber Slayton, Breanna Thompson, Mark Ovesen of Hodgenville, Terry Ovesen (Katrina) of Hodgenville, Tyler Benningfield, Eli Cecil and Daniel Collett; and his stepchildren, William Nichols of Buffalo, Kenneth Nichols of Hodgenville and Jennifer Nichols of Hodgenville. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren.
