She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Leo and Jennie Vester Martin Perkins; and her siblings, Geneva DeSpain, Gilbert, Ray, Richard and Tommy Perkins.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Gardner of Florida and Johnny Downs (Carrie) of Buffalo; her siblings, Ethel Lobb, Juanita Shofner, Irene Sprowles (Buddy), Bonnie Sanders (Ed) and Paul Perkins; and her niece June Emberton (Dwayne). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home (208 W Water St, Hodgenville, KY 42748). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at the Union Band Baptist Church (5350 Stiles Rd, Howardstown, KY 40051).
