It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Collins of Hodgenville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 13, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Collins and Mary Edna Beam Collins. He is survived by : his grandsons, Jeremy and Carl Alan Carr; his brother-in-law Dave Harris; his wife Theresa Collins; his children, Bobby Carr (Tammy) of Buffalo, Tina Burris (Charlie) of Brandenburg, Joanna Carr of Hodgenville, Crystal Michele Rowe (Randall Scot), Micha Collins (Melissa) of Louisville, Michael Lawrence Carr of Hodgenville and Nicole Collins (AJ) of Hodgenville; his sisters, Marie Bell (Butch) of Bardstown, Barbara Gering (Gordon Raufisen), Jan Bowles (JB) of Glasgow and Rebecca "Becky" Harris; his grandchildren, Brittany Shorey (Stephen), Ashley LeSane (Jacob), Robert Dutton, Heather Dutton, Austin Hensley, Deanna Carr, Chyanne Collins, Julia Collins, Brandon Scott Rowe, Cody Dylan Rowe and Nathon Scot Rowe; his great grandchildren, Ann Marie Pace, Abigale Pace, Oliva Grace Shorey, Alexandria Pace, Brandie Anna Shorey, Landon Pullen, Charles W Dutton and Emma Rose Strong; and also, Micha Collins and Laura Ball Collins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, June 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home (208 W Water St, Hodgenville, KY 42748). A prayer was held on Sunday, June 16th 2024 at 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (210 S Walters Ave, Hodgenville, KY 42748).
