She was predeceased by: her husband Lester Curry; her grandson Payton Altman; her parents, Silas Powell and Laura Toby Powell; and her siblings, Claude Powell and Dorothy Butler.
She is survived by: her children, Lane Howell (Linda) of Rineyville and Michelle "Sissy" Howell of Hodgenville; her stepdaughters, Beverly Viers Coffey and Sondra Curry Altman; her grandchildren, Aaron, Alan, Amanda B., Jennifer, Amanda M., Melissa, Megan, Autumn, Bryan, Zach, Richie and Jordan; and her great grandchildren, Sklyar, Killian, Griffin, Jaden, Alanya, Owen, Ella, Tate, Judd, Ava, Abbi and Anna Kate.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home (208 W Water St, Hodgenville, KY 42748). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Red Hill Cemetery (315 S Greensburg St, Hodgenville, KY 42748).
