He was predeceased by: his parents, Whinzer Higgason and Mary Wood Higgason. He is survived by: his wife Janet Smith Higgason; his daughter Tina Thompson (Clyde) of Sonora; his grandchildren, Haley, Ben and Jacob Edwards; and his sisters, Sue Ann Hill of California and Janice Meyers of Bonnieville. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home (208 W Water St, Hodgenville, KY 42748). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Buffalo Cemetery (2713 Greensburg Rd, Buffalo, KY 42716).
