He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Gardner and Johnny Downs Jr. (Carrie) of Buffalo; and his siblings, Ann Devers of Louisville, Linda Morrow (Larry) of Taylorsville, Judy Newton (Leon) of Bardstown, Larry Downs (Shirley) of Bardstown and Ronnie Downs (Shirley) of Stamping Grounds. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
