She was predeceased by: her daughter Susie Embry; her parents, Joe Mac and Stella DeSpain Skaggs; her grandson Alphonso Shepherd; and her siblings, Kathleen Howell, Barbara Pickerell, Doris Reser, Gene Skaggs, Bobby Skaggs and Homer Bradley.
She is survived by: her husband Orval Odell DeSpain; and her children, Debra Johnson of Elizabethtown, Linda Skaggs (Steve) of Buffalo, Lisa Ashley (Lee) of Elizabethtown, Kathy Dulak (Dave) of Hodgenville, Chrissy DeSpain of Magnolia, Darrell Embry (Karen) of Frankfort and Billy Joe Embry of Buffalo. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
