With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jim Garrison of Hodgenville, Kentucky, born in Silver Point, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jim left this world on October 23, 2024 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bedford Garrison and Louella Glover Garrison; and his brother-in-law Clyde H. Dodson. He is survived by: his wife Dana Goss Garrison; his children, Larry Valentine (Janet), Juney Garrison (Peggy), Vicky Sue Valentine and Cheryl Thomas (Fred Hoit); his sister Juanita Garrison Dodson; and his pet Mae Mae. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home (208 W Water St, Hodgenville, KY 42748). A masonic service will be held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Bon Ary Methodist Church Cemetery.
