He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Vessels and Oris Bright Vessels; and his siblings, Alice Butler and LeRoy Vessels. He is survived by: his wife Norma Thomas Vessels; his children, Jay Vessels of Paris and Carla Preston (Steve) of Cecilia; his granddaughter Julia Vessels; and his brothers, Tommy Vessels (Tammy) of Cloverport, Carl Vessels of Hodgenville and Terry Vessels (Shirley) of Brownsville.
