He was predeceased by: his parents, Jodie Evans and Ayra Brown Evans; and his brother Floyd "Fatts" Evans. He is survived by: his wife Mardell Evans; his children, Debbie Reed (Hank), Tami Noble (Mitch), Joey Evans (Velvet) and Jamie Evans; his siblings, Betty Smith, Elsi Burba, Linda Skaggs and Herman "Pewee" Evans (Carla); and his grandchildren, Evan Reed, Jody Eberly and Danielle Evans. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethesda Ministries (2738 Ring Rd, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at the Hodgenville Pentecostal Church Cemetery (1710 Campbellsville Rd, Hodgenville, KY 42748).
