She was predeceased by: her parent Leonard Howard Saunders, Sr.; her husband Joe David "Butch" Thurman, Sr.; and her son Joe David "Jody" Thurman, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Renee Thurman; her grandchildren, Kylee Thurman, Isabella Thurman, Makenzi Daniels and Naquan Thurman; her siblings, Shirley Ann Saunders Cobb and Leonard Howard Saunders, Jr.; and her nephew Tino Cobb. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
