She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cardin and Grace Lena Cardin; her husband James Dougherty; her siblings, Edith Cundiff, Wayne Cardin, Wesley Cardin and Dean Cardin; and her son Timothy "Tim" Houk.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charlotte Masterson (Tommy) of Elizabethtown, KY, Donna Heath-Johnson (Steve) of Lexington, KY and Renee Higdon (Dean) of Hodgenville, KY; her brother Doug Cardin of Elizabethtown, KY; her sisters-in-law, Donna Cardin and Joann Cardin; her grandchildren, Jason R., Taylor, Kyle, Kurt, Josh, Heather and Jason D.; her great grandchildren, Noah, Oakley, Banden, MaKenna, Daniel, Ellie and Emma; and also, Bill Underwood, Shonna and Mike Owens.
