He is survived by: his wife Naomi Gardner of Hodgenville; his sons, David Wayne Gardner (Lisa) of Elizabethtown and Steven Allen Gardner (Sheri) of Glendale; and his siblings, Charles Gardner (Alene) of Elizabethtown and Patricia Griffith of Elizabethtown. He is also survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
