He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Mahaney and Sybil Parsley Mahaney; and his brothers, Gerald and Melvin Mahaney. He is survived by: his children, Tabatha Metcalf (Doug) of Hodgenville and Mitch Mahaney of Troy, Ohio; his adoptive children, Amanda Barnett, Ashley Avery, Dontae Mahaney and Davon Mahaney; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Kimberly, Taylor, Xander Metcalf, Taleah Barnett, Karson and Keegan Mahaney; and his great grandchildren, Keaton Martin and Lucy Richardson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home (208 W Water St, Hodgenville, KY 42748). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at the Buffalo Cemetery (2713 Greensburg Rd, Buffalo, KY 42716).
